Receiver Drier Replacement
It is common practice on modern condensers to incorporate the receiver drier as part of the assembly. To replace the receiver drier, follow these simple steps:
1. Degas the system.
2. Once this is completed, the next step is to remove the sealing cap using an appropriately sized allen key. Please note that it is important to do this slowly in case there is residual pressure in the system.
3. After removing the sealing cap, remove the drier element with a pair of long nose pliers.
4. Once the old element is removed, the next step is to insert the new element, lubricating "O" rings on the sealing cap before refitting the element.
5. Evacuate and re-charge the system using one of Delphi's Air Conditioning recharging stations. Job done!
